Hamsa S.

Hamsa is an accomplished economist with over three decades of academic experience. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo in 1986, and went on to obtain her Master's degree in Economics in 1991. In 2010, she earned her PhD in Economics from Cairo University, cementing her expertise in the field. Hamsa began her teaching career in 2000, teaching economics at an IB school. In 2009, she joined the American University in Cairo as a professor of international economics development. In 2012, she was appointed a professor of economics at Misr International University. Later, in 2014, she joined the British University in Cairo as an economics professor. After serving in various academic positions, Hamsa decided to pursue her passion as an IB examiner and tutor in 2019. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise in economics continues to be a valuable asset to the academic community, and her dedication to the field is an inspiration to many.
